The test methods and inspection rules of this standard start from the actual production in my country, refer to the technical standards of advanced countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, and Japan, and integrate the content of the ASME code for boilers and pressure vessels in the United States, and include my country's technological progress and research results, making the standard It is rational, scientific and advanced, and has played a role in promoting and promoting the improvement of the quality of the heat exchanger.

 

The inspection and test of plate-fin heat exchangers are mainly divided into quality inspection of parts and performance inspection of finished products.

 

(1) The quality inspection of parts is mainly the inspection of fin geometry and dimensional accuracy, and the performance inspection of finished products, mainly the appearance inspection of brazing quality and the test of technical performance.

 

(2) Visual inspection is to check whether the size of the plate bundle after welding is within the specified allowable range, and whether there are defects such as solder accumulation, erosion and deformation in the brazed joint of the plate bundle.

 

(3) The technical performance inspection needs to carry out cleanliness test, non-destructive flaw detection inspection, pressure resistance and compactness test, final T-dryness inspection, etc. Fluid flow performance test for heat exchangers with multiple units connected in series or in parallel, and heat exchangers with flammable and explosive media and special requirements for compactness.

 

This standard specifies the allowable value of channel resistance deviation, vacuum leak detection, and helium mass spectrometry leak detection rate as the international standard. Standards control product quality, including the whole process of raw materials, design, manufacturing, performance testing, shipment, storage, etc. Through this series of inspections and tests to ensure and improve the quality of heat exchangers.
